In SambaPOS to work together with Caller ID\u00a0 some kind of configurations are necessary for creating delivery service. To create delivery Service;<\/p>\n

1. Creating Department\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Click to this link on navigation screen Manage > Settings > Departments > Add Department<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • \n
    Department Name:<\/strong>\u00a0The field which department name will be written. (Such as; Delivery Service)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Default Ticket Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Select Ticket.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Default Menu:<\/strong>\u00a0Select the menu to use for delivery service.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Warehouse:<\/strong>\u00a0Select the warehouse that you want it to reduce for sold products from inventories.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Price Tag:<\/strong>\u00a0For the delivery service, if the products will be sold with a different price, select the predefined price tag from here. If the prices will be same then leave it blank.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Ticket Creation Method:<\/strong>\u00a0The field which will be used for selecting ticket creation method. For delivery service firstly customer is selected and then due to order will be received Select Entity option should be selected.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    After finishing related editings click on Save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

    2. Editing Entity Type<\/span><\/h2>\n
    There are some blank data fields. It is possible to fill them according to need.<\/div>\n

    Go to\u00a0Manage > Entities > Entity Types <\/strong>\u00a0double click on Customers. <\/strong>In the window click on\u00a0Custom Fields <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n

    In here click on Add Custom Field<\/strong> section and add row according to customer’s need.<\/p>\n

    In the example write neighborhood as custom field. Leave field type as string, in the values column write the neighborhoods that will be serving by separating with commas. (Example; Wandsworth, Southwark, Islington)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    After finishing related editings click on\u00a0Save<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

    3. Adding\u00a0<\/span>Entity Screen\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

    In the delivery service department, create 2 different entity screens. On the first screen search and find the customer, on the second screen see the orders of customers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Customer Search Screen<\/h3>\n

    To create customer search screen from\u00a0Manage > Entities > Entity Screens<\/strong>\u00a0menu click on Add Entity Screen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    General Settings Tab;<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Name:<\/strong>\u00a0The field that entity name is written. (Example; Customers)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

      Ticket Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Select default predefined ticket template.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

      View Mode:<\/strong>\u00a0In this screen select search template because of customers will be found by searching.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Entity List Tab;<\/strong><\/p>\n

      In the entity list select customers as entity type because of searching will be performed amoung the customers. Leave blank other options for this example.<\/p>\n

      Mappings Tab;<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Add a row by clicking on Add<\/strong>\u00a0link on the mappings tab.<\/p>\n

      After creating role and terminal, select delivery service on department section, select ticket as ticket type and click on Save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

      Delivery Service Customer Tickets<\/span><\/h2>\n

      To create delivery service customer tickets from Manage > Entities > Entity Screens ><\/strong> click on Add Entity Screen<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n

        View Mode:<\/strong>\u00a0In this screen select automatic to see opened tickets.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

          Entity Type:<\/strong>\u00a0In the entity list at this screen view select customer as entity type to see orders of customers (not table’s).<\/div>\n<\/li>\n

          State Filter:<\/strong>\u00a0Select New Orders.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

          Mappings Tab;<\/strong><\/p>\n

          At the mappings tab add a row by clicking on Add<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n

          After creating role and terminal, select delivery service on department section, select ticket as ticket type and click on\u00a0Save<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n

          In the First setup Restaurant and Entity Screens come as already set. (Tables, Customer Search) Configure the Entity Screen according to department. If you are going to work on different department then configure mappings of entity screens. (Example; Delivery Service or Fast Food)<\/p>\n
