In this document, setup process of SambaPOS Go Tablet which belongs to SambaPOS GO product family will be explained.<\/p>\n

System Requirements;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. You need to have SambaPOS GO Tablet license in the same account that you have SambaPOS V5 Pro License.<\/p>\n

2. SambaPOS GO Tablet application works on Tablet devices which have 7 inches and above screen size. (It won’t work on mobile phones)<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. It is necessary to purchase Go Tablet license as much as tablet counts to be used.<\/p>\n

4. For Android tablets, Android Version must be minimum 5.0, for Apple tablets, iOS version must be 10 or above.<\/p>\n

5. All of the Google Services must be installed on the tablet device.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Where to Download;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can download SambaPOS GO Tablet application from\u0131 Google Play Store and Appstore.<\/p>\n

You can purchase license of SambaPOS GO Tablet application from\u00a0cp.sambapos.com<\/a>\u00a0account’s Store Section.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Important Note:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When you make any change on SambaPOS side, in order to apply this change to tablet that SambaPOS GO Tablet installed on, you need to follow below mentioned 2 steps.<\/p>\n

1. Re-Sending the Menu to tablet that SambaPOS GO Tablet installed on;<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to save the changes, you need to restart SambaPOS before you click on the Send Menu to GO Office button.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You can do this by applying below step;<\/p>\n

Main Menu > Manage > Settings > Program Settings > SambaPOS GO Section ><\/strong>\u00a0Here, determine the menu that you want to send to\u00a0tablet that SambaPOS GO Tablet installed on and click on\u00a0Send Menu to GO Office <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n

2. Clicking on Update<\/span> button on the device that SambaPOS GO Tablet is installed on;<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can do this by applying below step;<\/p>\n

On the device that GO Tablet is installed on,\u00a0enter the password by clicking 3 times on the SambaPOS Logo <\/strong>and reach the Settings Screen <\/strong>and then\u00a0apply the changes by clicking on Update<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

1.1. Server Features<\/strong>
\nServer Operating System:<\/strong> Windows 10 or above Operating system and the latest Microsoft SQL Server version.
\nServer Hardware:<\/strong>\u00a0Minimum Intel Celeron J1900 CPU,\u00a04 GB of Ram, 64 GB SSD \u00a0Harddisk or higher<\/p>\n

1.3. Network Settings<\/strong>
\nSambaPOS Server and Mobile Client must be in the same IP group.<\/p>\n

Server: Go to\u00a0 Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings > Local Area Connection > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/IPv4) > Properties > Write a static IP.<\/p>\n

1.4. Windows Firewall Settings
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please deactivate all third party internet security and firewall services.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note: If you don\u2019t have MSSQL database,<\/strong>\u00a0please visit the link to configure settings<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mobile Client doesn\u2019t work without MSSQL database.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0Please deactivate all third party internet security services and Windows Firewall.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Turn Windows Firewall on or off > Turn off Windows Firewall for Private Network Settings and Public Network Settings<\/p>\n

Note: Do not have notification for reactivate of Windows Firewall, please follow the steps\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Control Panel > System and Security > Action Center > Change Action Center Settings > Network Firewall\u00a0(Unselected)<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.5. MSSQL TCP\/IP Ports<\/strong>
\nGo to SQL Server Configuration Manager and \u201cEnable\u201d TCP\/IP Sharing to connect MSSQL Database from clients.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Right Click My Computer > Manage > Services and Applications > SQL Server Configuration Manager > SQL Server Network Configuration > Protocol For MSSQLSERVER > TCPIP > Enabled<\/p>\n

2. Settings That Should Be Done on SambaPOS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2.1. Adding Application on SambaPOS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Main Menu > Manage > Users > Applications ><\/strong>\u00a0here, click on Add Application.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Main Menu > Manage > User List > Users ><\/strong>\u00a0here, click on Add User.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.3. Sending SambaPOS Menu to Device that GO Tablet Installed<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Main Menu > Manage > Settings > Program Settings > SambaPOS GO Section ><\/strong>\u00a0Here, determine the menu that you want to send to the device which SambaPOS GO Tablet is installed on and click on\u00a0Send Menu to GO Office <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n

Registering the Device That SambaPOS GO Tablet Installed On<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When you install GO Tablet application for the first time, Settings Screen will be appearing automatically.<\/p>\n

Email Address:<\/strong>\u00a0Your SambaPOS V5 Pro License email address will be automatically written here by the app.<\/p>\n

App Name:<\/strong> gotablet<\/p>\n

GraphQL:<\/strong>\u00a0User Name that you created on SambaPOS (In the example gotablet)<\/p>\n

Password:<\/strong>\u00a0Type the password that you determined while you creating the user on SambaPOS.<\/p>\n

Terminal:<\/strong>\u00a0Select the Terminal you want to use.<\/p>\n

Department:<\/strong> Select the Department you want to use.<\/p>\n

Ticket Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Select the Ticket Type you want to use.<\/p>\n

Server IP Address:<\/strong>\u00a0Type the IP Address of computer which SambaPOS V5 Pro installed on<\/p>\n

After you finish with this step Login<\/strong> to\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a>\u00a0address.<\/p>\n

4. Settings That Should Be Done on\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.1. Logging in to TOffice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You need to Login to\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com\/login<\/a>\u00a0website by using your SambaPOS V5 Pro License email address and password.<\/p>\n

After you logged in, you will be seeing the below screen;<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

If you leave Tablet Settings Password as blank, it will be set to 1234 as default.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Click on related Tablet and configure the settings as shown in the image.<\/p>\n

Tablet Name:<\/strong>\u00a0Type the Name of Tablet<\/p>\n

Start Text:<\/strong>\u00a0Type the sentence to be displayed on Home Screen of Tablet<\/p>\n

Tablet Settings Password:<\/strong> Determine the Tablet Password, don’t leave it empty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tablet Usage Strategy:<\/strong>\u00a0Determine if the usage strategy will be Start with Order, Start with Table or Ready on Table.<\/p>\n

Tablet Entity Type:<\/strong>\u00a0Select the desired SambaPOS Entity Type<\/strong> (Required)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tablet Entity Name:<\/strong>\u00a0Select the desired Entity Name to be assigned.<\/p>\n

Important Note: Tablet Entity Type <\/strong>selection is Required.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After making any change on\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a>, tablets must be Updated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.2. Usage Strategies of GO Tablet<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In case of you want to reach Settings Screen while on customer menu screen,\u00a0(If it is desired to change entity for Ready on Table or Start with Table<\/em>\u00a0strategies, or if the tablet needs to be updated or<\/em>\u00a0if you want to change default settings) it is possible to reach related screen first by reaching to\u00a0Password Screen<\/strong> by clicking\u00a03 times on\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>SambaPOS Logo<\/strong> which can be customised according to need.<\/p>\n

4.2.1. Start with Order<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this usage strategy, first Order of Customer<\/strong> is taken and then it is assigned to Table.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Users will be seeing a confirmation screen which says that Order Must<\/strong> be confirmed after they complete the orders and clicked on Send Order<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
  2. Users can go back to Menu by clicking on Menu button which can be found on top left of screen in case of tablet goes to Password Screen while they make orders<\/li>\n
  3. Authorised Staff will be redirected to a screen which tables are listed and can change the settings from there.<\/li>\n
  4. He selects the related table in order to complete the Order and then Order will be sent to SambaPOS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    4.2.2. Start with Table<\/strong><\/p>\n

    In this usage strategy, as first the Table is selected and then orders will be added into that table.<\/p>\n

    1. After Authorised Staff inserted the password he will be redirected to a screen that tables are listed and settings can be changed from.<\/li>\n
    2. Authorised Staff selects the table, approves the confirmation request and then application turns back to Order Screen.<\/li>\n
    3. When it is clicked on Send Orders button, the orders will be sent to SambaPOS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      4.2.3. Ready on Table<\/strong><\/p>\n

      In this usage there is no any specific confirmation request or work flow sorting.<\/p>\n

      1. Tablet starts on Password Screen.<\/li>\n
      2. The table that pre determined on\u00a0toffice.sambapos.com comes as automatically selected after Authorised Staff inserts the password.<\/li>\n
      3. If Entity Name is not selected on toffice.sambapos.com from Tablet Details, it displays a screen says that Entity is not assigned.<\/li>\n
      4. Authorised Staff can assign a table to the tablet from toffice.sambapos.com or using QR Code Scanner.<\/li>\n
      5. After assigning table, it is possible to reach Menu by clicking on Go Menu button from top right of screen.<\/li>\n
      6. In this strategy, any other confirmation isn’t necessary. All the orders will be sent to SambaPOS until authorised user change assigned entity from settings screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        4.3. Editing Product Category on TOffice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        In this screen, after you click on Menu Edit<\/strong> button, you can start editing the product categories.<\/p>\n

        Click on the category that you want to add image for,\u00a0click on Choose File<\/strong>\u00a0to add desired image\u00a0and save the changes by clicking on Edit<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

        You can hide the categories which you don’t want to display on device that SambaPOS GO Tablet installed on, by clicking on Category Status<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

        4.4. Editing Product on TOffice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Click on the category that includes the product which you want to add image and description for.<\/p>\n

        Insert the descriptions for related product.<\/p>\n

        You can hide the products which you don’t want to display on device that SambaPOS GO Tablet installed on, by clicking on Product\u00a0Status<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

        As last step, add the desired image for related product.<\/p>\n

        Once you completed necessary settings, save the changes by clicking on Edit Product<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

        4.5. Product Sorting on\u00a0TOffice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        In order to set the sorting of the products that will be displayed on the device which SambaPOS GO Tablet installed on, click on Menu Sorting<\/strong> button from\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a>\u00a0and position the related product to desired place by drag and dropping.<\/p>\n

        4.6. Adding Home Screen Images on TOffice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        On the\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a>\u00a0website, from left side of screen click on Ads Settings,\u00a0<\/strong>Home Ads<\/strong> button then click on Choose Files<\/strong> button to add desired images and then save the changes by clicking on Add Ads<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

        On the\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a>\u00a0website, configure your settings by first clicking on Settings<\/strong> and then General<\/strong> buttons.<\/p>\n

        You can determine theme color, turning back to home screen time, font type and logo.<\/p>\n

        Once you completed necessary editings, click on Save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

        4.7.2. Theme Settings Screen<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        On the\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a>\u00a0website, configure your settings by first clicking on Settings<\/strong> and then Theme<\/strong>\u00a0buttons.<\/p>\n

        Column counts of Categories and Products,<\/p>\n

        Product Line Row Count,<\/p>\n

        Distance between screen of categories and products,<\/p>\n

        Background color and text of categories and products.<\/p>\n

        Once you completed necessary editings, click on Save<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

        After making any change on\u00a0https:\/\/toffice.sambapos.com<\/a>, tablets must be Updated.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        4.8. Applying the Changes to Device That GO Tablet Installed On<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        In the last step, after you completed all the settings on the device that SambaPOS GO Tablet<\/strong> installed on, enter the Password<\/strong>\u00a0by clicking 3 times on SambaPOS Logo<\/strong> and reach to Settings Screen<\/strong>\u00a0and then apply all the changes to device by clicking on Update<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n
