SambaPOS is compatible with all brand\/model printers that has ESC\/POS support.<\/p>\n

After installation of printer on Windows, make sure to check testing page by printing.<\/p>\n

Adding Printer to SambaPOS<\/h2>\n

In order to add the printer that previously installed on computer, to SambaPOS go to\u00a0Manage > Printing > Printers<\/strong>\u00a0from here click on\u00a0Add Printer<\/strong>\u00a0link.<\/p>\n

  • Printer Name:\u00a0<\/strong>In this field you can write name of department that printer will be used.<\/li>\n
  • Printer Share Name\/ Port Name:\u00a0<\/strong>Select the printer which was installed to computer.<\/li>\n
  • Printer Type:\u00a0<\/strong>SambaPOS can send receipt to different typed printers. Select necessary printer from here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Character Set:\u00a0<\/strong>Character set is used during the processing, storage\u00a0 and transmission of textual data. This is the character set that SambaPOS will be using.<\/li>\n
    • RTL Support:\u00a0<\/strong>It is used for alphabets which has flow from right to left such as Arabic, Persian, Hebrew. It should be selected utf-8 as character set.<\/li>\n
    • Line Character Count:\u00a0<\/strong>Maximum character count that can be found in one line on thermal printers. Default value is 42.\u00a0Give the exact value that supported by connected printer.<\/li>\n
    • Char Replacement: It is used in case of a letter is not supported by printer:<\/strong>\u00a0For the printers that not supporting used language replacing a character with another one such as \u00d6=O, \u015e=S, \u00c7=C.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      It is enough to add all the printers that will be used in different kitchens or tickets only one time in SambaPOS. Make the printer selection when it is necessary.<\/p>\n

      2. If the Voucher Printer is thermal then it will work faster and cost less.<\/span><\/li>\n
